The firm was built around two principles. First, every search is run by a finance specialist who has placed at that level before. Second, every engagement runs to a written plan with weekly written reports.
Every engagement begins with a working kickoff session with the hiring principal. The output of that session is a written mandate document covering the role, the must-haves, the comp band, the candidate persona, and the search timeline. From there, the partner on the file builds a target list of companies and candidates and approaches them personally.
You receive a written status report each Friday for the duration of the search. The report covers candidates approached, candidates progressed, candidates declined, and any market signals worth flagging. There are no surprises.
Senior finance hires are tenure plays. The CFO you bring in this year needs to be the CFO at year three, not at month nine. Permanent placements demand a different kind of work than contract: more thorough referencing, more careful compensation conversations, more attention to cultural fit. We focus only on direct-hire because that is the work we do best.
